Dr. Sathya S. Kalangi, M.D. is the Founder and CEO of Collective Power of One International and a Gastroenterologist, Internist physician in private practice, in the U.S. She is an educator for Hospital physician training programs and for pharmaceutical companies. She has been awarded numerous accolades for her teaching abilities and has held numerous administrative positions of hospitals. She has designed and set up endoscopy suites in third world countries and is a member of numerous medical and other associations.
She has been recognized by several organizations as a top doctor, gastroenterologist, and leader. The IAHCP awarded her Top Gastroenterologist of 2017 and Top Doctor in 2017 and 2018. For these achievements she was spotlighted in “The Leading Physicians of the World.”
Some of her other recognitions include an American Board of Gastroenterology award and The Most Outstanding Gastroenterologist in 2011, being named Top World Wide Leader in Healthcare by the IAHP in 2011, and making the Continental Who’s Who in 2018.
In 2019 she was also apart of the Mega Medical Cancer Screening Camp in India where 13,500 lives are served in a day.
She has also partnered with many people and organizations like India’s Central Drug Controller, Minister of Health and Bridge Gap Hospitals. There is currently a partnership in progress to collaborate on Ethiopia’s National Cancer Control Plan as well as state and national education centers in the U.S. and Internationally.
She has worked in various disasters relief areas across the globe that include the tsunami hit Banda Aceh, Indonesia, earthquake hit Port-au Prince, Haiti as well as locally in the United States during hurricanes Ike, Rita and Katrina. She enjoys disaster relief training at Universities in the U.S, Haiti and Argentina. Dr. Kalangi conducts numerous health camps in different countries: the United States, India ( Ongole and many remote villages, Mumbai – red light district), Haiti and Dominican Republic and Argentina. She conducts large scale Health screenings in Houston, Texas for Hepatitis, Diabetes, cholesterol etc. She is also involved in community development and education, to include the Bhutanese refugee community, in Houston, Texas. She enjoys volunteering her time at the local temples and mosques, as a physician. She is a public speaker for different organizations including churches, the Dalith organizations, the Rotary, schools and Universities in the U.S, Mumbai, India, Haiti, and also at the International Educational and Medical summit for Haiti, in Montreal Canada.
Dr. Kalangi was invited and was on the Presidential Business Advisory Council for numerous years. Dr. Kalangi has a passion for the sick, the underprivileged, the illiterate, children/orphans, the elderly, widows/widowers and the homeless. Dr. Kalangi has been and is currently actively involved in several non profit and for profit organizations. She is the founder of “The Collective Power of One – International”. She is enthusiastically supported and encouraged by her spouse and children.
